Senior Accountant

Our client is based in Burnley and provides accountancy services to clients in the Lancashire and Greater Manchester area, with specialism in the SME/Owner managed market. They pride themselves on their innovative and modern approach to accounting and are looking for a senior accountant who can provide their clients with first-class service.

As the senior accountant, you'll be responsible for:

• Preparation of accounts for limited companies and sole traders.
• Bookkeeping using SAGE, QuickBooks, or Xero
• Preparing VAT returns
• Corporation tax computations.
• Using digital software for Accounts, Corporation Tax, and Self-assessment preparation
• Production of some management accountants ready for review on a quarterly basis

Our client is looking for a qualified AAT Technician who has some experience of the practice environment, however someone who has strong practice experience would also been considered.

You will be the main point of contact for our client's clients, so it is essential that you have an approachable personality who can communicate financial information to non-financial management.
