Job Introduction

We are hiring a Digital Finance Manager to support the delivery of key business objectives in a changing and challenging digital business environment. You will report to the Senior Digital Finance Manager and partner with Senior Digital Managers and other members of the Advertising Finance team.

This is a home and hub based, linked to our Canary Wharf Hub. We are therefore open to candidates based in and around London. We are also happy to consider applications on a flexible working basis, and will always aim to accommodate requests where possible.

What will the Digital Finance Manager role involve?

The Digital Finance Manager will work with key business owners for Digital revenue streams to drive ongoing yield optimisation. You will provide insight and guidance on trends; underpinned by best practised, standardised modelling. You'll use your expertise to critically evaluate current processes, identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations to deliver measurable value or process efficiency.

You'll be supported to develop a deep understanding of digital commercial revenue data sources, to enable you to analyse trends across the digital estate. This position will support the transformation of the Commercial Finance team to a data-first, analytically based decision support organisation.

  • Support delivery of strategic initiatives and related P&Ls, including forecasting and operational support
  • Deliver data-driven build of business cases, working with business owners to report on any initiatives, driving remediation where required
  • Own the Digital Revenue Weekly Trading process, providing insight into business trends.
  • Develop a suite of Digital Revenue KPIs and M to understand momentum in the business
  • Own reporting & analysis for CRO-owned CVS Revenue streams
  • Develop a deep understanding of the digital cost base, including the ad tech stack.
  • Develop best practise forecast modelling and trend analytics

The ideal Digital Finance Manager:

You will be required to understand and provide guidance on data driven models and be able to condense output into key messages. Experience in a digital customer-focussed consumer advertising business would be beneficial. You will demonstrate intellectual curiosity and be keen to challenge the status quo. We are looking for a highly organised self-starter with proven experience in delivering the role responsibilities and the following competencies:

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA or ACCA or equivalent)
  • Experience in a commercial finance role within a listed company
  • Experience of developing analytic driver-based models to support decision making

Systems Competence:

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft and Google applications
  • Experience of Microsoft NAV
  • Desirable: SAP BPC systems
