About Our Client

Our client is an organisation that protects, enhances and promotes the immense beauty, wildlife and character of the natural landscape.

They’re currently looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join the team, on a full-time (37 hours per week) permanent basis, based at their Bainbridge office, with the potential for some regular home working.

The Role

This will be a varied and interesting role; you will be a key member of the high performing finance team, responsible for the line management of the Finance Clerk, while reporting to the Head of Finance, and being part of the wider ‘Corporate’ support team.

Assisting with the provision and ongoing development of an efficient and effective financial service, including year-round budgeting and year-end functions plus the internal and external auditing processes.

Reviewing current processes and progressing improvements will be expected as will ensuring debtor accounts and banking procedures are managed appropriately.

About You

You will ideally have a recognised finance qualification, however if you have significant experience without a qualification this will be taken into account.

You will need an understanding of PCI (card payments) compliance, or be willing to learn, have strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

As you’ll be joining a small team of three, you’ll need to be a supportive team member with great organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your workload.
