Our SME client a world class leader in their field is going through a period of growth and looking to add a Senior Finance Analyst to their FP&A team.

Your new role
You will be reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and be within the FP&A team responsible for delivering a comprehensive business partnering model, focussing on performance, insight, decision support and value drivers. You will be responsible for the monthly management accounts, month end procedures including monitoring balance sheet control accounts. Delivering key elements of the year-end process including the year-end packs and audit. You will provide support to functional teams including cost control, forecasts, supplier contracts, risks and opportunities. Assist with the group budgets, ensuring the results are robust and aligned to their strategy. Deliver monthly P&L summaries, variance analysis and KPI reporting to the Board and business stakeholders. Provide financial insight and challenge on strategic initiatives and business projects. Deliver ad hoc financial and commercial analysis to produce actionable insights. Become an expert user of their finance systems to produce meaningful reports and analysis. Drive continuous improvement of processes and the control environment, identifying risks, errors, problems, and improvement opportunities, assist with finance projects including the roll out of their new finance system. Complete the quarterly UK VAT returns. and assist with the completion of the UK/US Corporate Tax computations and returns.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with extensive management accounts experience. You will have the ability to identify and effectively challenge key assumptions in financial data, with scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis. Excellent communications skills are a must as you will be working with key stakeholders.

This is a hybrid role mix of working in their offices in Hove and remote, salary up to £50,000, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, private medical and pension.
