This leading professional services business in Manchester has been consistent in recent years with millions in customers depending on their services every year. The company has a collaborative and diverse working environment, with continued investment into people, infrastructure and digitisation, they are now looking to bring someone into a leadership role within their shared service centre.

Your new job

In your new job you will support the Group FD and senior management team, you will manage the large shared service centres of c employees the company operates from Manchester. This encompasses O2C, P2P, financial accounting, reporting, controls and compliance. In this role you will motivate and inspire the team with a positive working attitude, and consistently look for ways to improve the way the team operates as the business continues it's drive towards an agile way of working.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have an accounting background from completing your ACA, ACCA or CIMA accounting qualification, and importantly demonstrate strong leadership skills managing large teams of primarily transactional finance staff of around 100 colleagues. You will be a natural business partner, and this will enable you to provide commercial finance insights to senior management and offer suggestions to improve business profitably through operational adjustments to the way things are currently done.
