Head of Finance Opportunity - Colchester, Essex - £80,000 to £85,000 negotiable

Your new company
Based on the outskirts of Colchester, Essex, my client is a highly successful UK business providing niche products with an international reach; they have an excellent reputation and an impressive track record for growth and profitability. I am very pleased to be working with them on an exclusive bass to recruit a Head of Finance to be part of the Senior Management Team to support the business with its exciting business plans.

Your new role
Working closely with the businesses owners the Head of Finance will take ownership for finance;
Manage and develop the finance function, its people, processes, controls and IT systems
Review and present the monthly management reports and board pack
Budgeting, forecasting and business planning
Manage daily cashflow reporting - multi currency environment
Manage the year end and annual audit - statutory reporting and taxation
Be point of contact and manage relationship with bank, auditors and other professional organisations
Provide Business Partner Support and trusted advisor to the business owners
Provide routine and adhoc analysis to the Directors on business opportunities
Company Secretarial duties
Lead on continuous review and development of processes, controls, IT systems and reporting


What you'll need to succeed
The Head of Finance will be a Qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting skills, statutory, taxation and treasury and strong business acumen.
They will enjoy being part of the senior management team and providing key insight, analysis, quality reporting and to support the enviable continuous business growth and exciting plans for the future
Be a trusted Advisor to the Directors
An experienced Manager with the ability to be "hands on" as required


What you'll get in return
The Head of Finance will be offered a competitive salary in the region of £80,000 to £85,000 plus benefits negotiable and be part of the management team to support the business in its future growth.
