Your new role

• Proactively manage a portfolio of Project customers to maximise cash collection whilst providing excellent customer service.
• Timely and accurate allocation of customer payments.
• Regular communication with the cashier's team to ensure payments are up to date from the bank statement.
• Maintenance of customer master data to ensure customer details are accurately stored.
• Identifying and flagging disputed invoices and debit notes, liaising with Gower employees to ensure a timely resolution.
• Management of credit limits and implementation of stop flags when required.
• Timely & accurate issue of monthly supply & install invoices.
• Ensure the agreed terms of trade are adhered too.
• Liaise with internal legal team in the event a debt needs to be recovered externally.
• Ad-hoc duties as required by the Team Leader & Credit Manager.

What you'll need to succeed

Experience of working in a high-volume fast paced Credit Management environment with good knowledge of credit risk assessment and legal debt recovery procedures. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:

• Meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work to strict deadlines
• Ability to deliver against KPIs
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal effectively with all customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Flexible, reliable and adaptable and open to change
• Experience working in a high-volume environment
• Sound knowledge of credit risk assessment and legal debt recovery procedures
