Hays are working again with an international business to recruit a Regional Finance Manager

Your new company
A global leader in their field and operating across 30 countries, this food business are well know for the quality products they provide. With an extensive supply chain, they are able to bring products from across the glove but also from local suppliers. Their mission is always to make the world a healthier and more sustainable place to be. As part of their growth, they are now looking for a Regional Finance Business Partner based here in the South West.

Your new role
Reporting into the Head of Finance, they are looking for a commercial accountant that can take responsibility for management accounting, forecasting, commercial analysis that will help support decision making across the region. That will involve proactively business partnering, providing support, challenge and insights to local directors. You will deliver accurate and relevant financial information and analysis, identifying risk and opportunities to enable delivery of targets. This is a commercial role at its core, and they are looking for someone that can look beyond the numbers and help support the operational teams ensuring the business is set up for success.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a qualified accountant, ideally with management accounting experience in an FMCG or manufacturing environment. You should have strong communication skills and have experience of influencing non finance colleagues. You should have good excel skills and be able to travel. The role will involve this person to drive between sites so you will need to drive but a car allowance is included in the package.

What you'll get in return
The role is offering a salary of £55,000 plus a car allowance and a discretionary annual bonus of up to 10%. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a large business with the ability to affect and change this newly created role. This would suit someone who would like to be based from home, manage their own diary and move between different sites here in the South West.
