We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated Accountant to work as a key member of a strong, committed team delivering financial support to some of our key strategic programmes and projects. Your role will require a professional approach to support your stakeholders with the submission of integrated plans and forecasts, and all associated financial management.
You will be qualified/part-qualified or be qualified by experience in a financial environment including the preparation of and monitoring against financial plans. You will also bring with you experience of producing financial management information for non-finance professionals. As well as providing financial monitoring support, you will also be involved in developing new systems and reporting procedures, finding innovative solutions and improved ways of working.
This vacancy is within the Central Services Finance team. In this role you will report directly to the Senior Management Accountant - Central Services but will also work closely with other financial and management accounting colleagues and other non-finance professionals from across the University.
