Your new role
In your new role as Business Process Sox Lead, you will report into the Head of Sox & Controls, due to join the business shortly to bring the company to a best in class standard of Sox & Controls. Currently, the business has Sox being managed by a team of testers in the European SSC, and are bringing this onshore. They are also hiring for an IT Sox Lead - and so this will allow you to really focus on the Business Process side of Sox and push on with this.
The role will be one which needs you to be wiling to get your sleeves rolled up and hands on with some of the work, specifically with the design and implementation of necessary Sox Controls - and then leading the team of testers in relation to their activities. These will not be direct reports as yet, but you will need to have the ability to motivate and lead them.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA etc.)
- Strong experience with Sox, ideally running a Sox Programme for an international business
- Ability to lead and motivate an offshore team
- Good understanding of Business Process Controls
- Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders as needed
