Capital & Corporate Insurance Manager

I am working with a listed general insurance business who are looking to hire a capital & corporate insurance manager to join the capital management team. The business offer a very flexible approach in regards to hybrid work and are well regarded in their approach to wellbeing and employee support.

Your new role
Reporting into the director of capital management and supporting the wider FP&A function this is a broad role with responsibilities including:

• Production of solvency and liquidity reporting.
• Quarterly solvency updates and ratio landings.
• Legal entity forecasting.
• Providing data to the capital modelling team.
• Production of MI for internal and external stakeholders.
• Project management and placement of new insurance policies.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need a good knowledge of the insurance industry with experience in monitoring and forecasting on capital position. You will need knowledge of solvency II accounting and knowledge of balance sheets and risk management concepts. You will need good communication skills, capable of working with a wide range of stakeholders.
