We are really pleased to be working with a leading UK business which has an excellent track record of business growth and ambitious continued growth plans. To support this continuous growth they are looking to recruit a qualified accountant to join the business as Financial Accountant, based at their modern offices on the outskirts of Colchester, Essex, they offer a hybrid working pattern.

Your new role
The Financial Accountant will be joining a talented finance team and report into the Financial Controller..
Key Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing monthly management accounts alongside the Management Accountant
• Liaison with Auditors and Tax Consultants.
• Year-end closing in line with corporate requirements and compliance.
• Treasury and financing, including the financial aspect of Capex.
• Implementing corporate rules, such as intercompany transfer pricing and corporate charges.
• Working directly with the Financial Controller on joint projects including annual budgets and forecasting.

What you'll need to succeed
The Financial Accountant will be a Qualified Accountant, who has trained and qualified with a firm of accountants or within the commercial sector.
They with have good technical accounting knowledge, strong analytical and IT skills and a keen interest in business.
They will be a confident communicator with the ability to liaise at all levels
The Financial Accountant will be ambitious, eager to develop their skills and progress within the organisation
