I am working with a fantastic company based in Crewe who are looking for a Finance Manager to join their finance team.

Your new role
As a Finance Manager you will report to Head of Finance and manage a wider finance team taking responsibility for

• Leading the period end reporting process within the required timescales, focusing on the production of the management accounts, KPI reporting and management information.
• Maintaining and developing a meaningful reporting suite to enable all levels of management to fully understand and monitor the financial performance of all areas of the business
• Working closely with the Head of Finance and Budget holders to plan and deliver the annual budget, forecasts and mid-term plans in accordance with Group timelines.
• Acting as a Business Partner maintaining and developing relationships with key stakeholders across the business, delivering insights into results to enable them to better understand and improve performance.
• Working with the Financial Accountant to ensure a quality year end audit pack is delivered to the auditors at the end of the financial year, with minimal year-end adjustments.
• Maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures with strong attention to detail.
• Leading , managing and developing direct reports, challenging and motivating performance.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified accountant with proven track record in financial planning, analysis and reporting, excellent verbal and written communication skills , ability to manage workloads and working to deadlines.
