Description
As Finance Manager, your duties will include:- Review of monthly management accounts, adding appropriate analysis and commentaryRegular review of monthly balance sheet reconciliationsManage the business planning process, presenting to Board and responding to any ad hoc queriesManage key stakeholder relationships and support on key decision makingContribute to the preparation of the Board report, presenting the report in regular Board meetingsIdentifying risks and opportunities and making recommendations for actionsManage the statutory audit process and secure approval of the statutory accountsRegularly review and analyse budgetSupport wider finance team in ad hoc project work and actively participate in specialist working groups as required
Profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Financial reporting/management accounting experienceExcellent communication skills and comfortable presenting to and influencing senior stakeholdersExperience of managing multiple stakeholdersStrong IT/Excel skillsAbility to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlinesAbility to identify risks and opportunitiesCommercially minded and ability to see the bigger pictureComfortable working in a varied and hands-on role
Job Offer
In return, the client is offering a competitive salary c£55-65k (dependent on experience), plus an excellent wider package including bonus and an above market pension scheme. They offer the autonomy and flexibility to manage your own workload, with the option to work from home up to 5 days a week.
