Financial Accountant to be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the balance sheet, reconciliations reporting and regulatory submissions. The postholder will also be responsible for management of the cashflow, forecast and payments to third parties. Supporting the Finance Manager whilst working collaboratively in the Finance team to challenge how things are done, improve processes and deliver automation where possible.

Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for managing the balance sheet through the approval and posting of journals and completion of reconciliations on a monthly basis.
* Responsible for the calculation of quarterly Corporation Tax and VAT for quarterly submission and presenting for sign-off.
* Responsible for managing accounts payable and cashflow management.
* Responsible for the preparation of reporting for regulatory submissions and presenting for sign-off.
* Support the Finance Manager through the external audit process and in the preparation of Statutory Accounts.
* Challenge existing processes and look to automate processes to improve control and drive efficiency.
* Accuracy of financial reporting and preparation of external submissions.
* Completion of submission reporting in advance of the deadlines to ensure appropriate management oversight.
* Proactive management of the cashflow and cashflow forecast.
