Business Analyst

Business Analyst - Retail - Immediate Start - Hybrid Working - Negotiable Day Rate - Initial 6 month role

My client is looking for a Business Analysts who can support the new Audit and tax documents and reconcile end-to-end customer-to-tax / customer-to-accounting process flows. This role sits within a the Audit Data Services and Solutions (ADSS) team which is supporting Tax globally. This role will own support for a combination of geo-specific audits, and global business lines. Journal reconciliations experience from Big4 would be a big advantage


Skills and Knowledge needed to succeed in this role:
- Process Mapping experience
- Documentation preparation and review

- Used of working with large data sets
- Project management experience
- Data skills - experience with reconciliation and comparisons of financial datasets
- Communication skills
- familiarity with SQL
- familiarity with Oracle

Previous experience with the following will be an advantage
- Risk Advisory function, Internal Audit, or on projects relating to DAC 7, DST, SOX, GRC, GDPR, IT Controls, Systems Audits
- Data team within an accounting function, with familiarity with bulk data for Trial Balances, Journal Entries, and sub-ledgers
- Accountant with data skills
