Company Accountant

***£50,000-£60,000 - flexible hybrid working, part or full time hours considered ***

This professional services firm who have a modern and progressive ethos are looking to recruit a company accountant/ finance manager to support the senior management team. Priding themselves on their expertise the firm are looking for someone who can mirror this in the finance field. The role is to support the business administration and financial administration of the accounts of the firm. You will be involved in a period of growth and development of the firm and will be responsible for the timely and upgrade procedures and establishing accounting processes and protocols to be adopted by the firms staff. You day to day key responsibilities will include:

• Month end review and reporting activities
• Monthly forecasting and projections
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing the interface with the outsource bespoke cloud based software
• Review aged creditors report
• Quarterly VAT and tax computations

The preferred candidate will have experience of working in a similar role and either be a qualified accountant or QBE. You will have a strong work ethic, good attention to detail and an eagerness to improve processes and systems where appropriate.
