A leading Top 20 firm of Chartered Accountants with offices based in Manchester City Centre are looking to expand their Audit team with the appointment of an Audit Senior Manager. The firm has a huge range of interesting, complex and high profile clients in their portfolio offering you exposure to lots of different industries. This firm pride themselves on offering a tailor made service to their clients, advising on both business and personal affairs.

Your new role
As an Audit Senior Manager you will manage a large portfolio of clients, including Owner Managed Businesses to large international businesses with responsibility for ensuring all work is completed to a high quality and within a timely manner. As the Senior Manager you will be responsible for managing the budget, providing a high level technical review of the audit file and leading the audit completion meeting. You will join part of the firms senior leadership team and be responsible for leading the audit team, alongside another senior manager which will include training, recruitment and making a positive impact on the culture of the firm. You will also be involved in pitching and tendering for new work and work with the partners to deliver the firms strategic growth plans.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be driven by offering the best service available to your clients, ensuring they are kept up to date throughout each project, ensuring that their needs are met, and your service maximised. You must therefore be a dynamic and commercially minded individual, with excellent communication skills. The firm are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified Chartered Accountant who has a proven track record of operating as an audit manager and can easily develop close working relationships with your clients, maintaining a strong commercial acumen. You must be an ambitious individual keen to progress their career through to RI and to partnership in the medium term.
