Gleeson Recruitment Group are working with a prestigious motor sport brand as they seek to appoint a Senior Commercial Finance Business partner to their team based in Northamptonshire.

You will seek to build partnerships and maintain strong relationships with senior executive leaders and budget holders. You will be the main point of contact and lead on all financial matters across the commercial department, including but not limited to:

o Involvement in new sponsorship & licensing agreements

o The delivery of rights provided to sponsors

o VIP hospitality & events

Key responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Influence decision-making through delivering strong analysis and insight on business opportunities; providing options and scenarios for decisions to be made.
  • Calculation of staff commission payments in line with policy and reconciling payments made through payroll.
  • Development of management information to meet stakeholder requirements and to provide additional insight.
  • Ownership of all budgeting and reforecasting processes for the department.
  • Identification and implementation of process and system improvements across the department.
  • Development of junior staff members within the team.
  • Assisting with additional ad-hoc requests to support the business when required.

*This is a hybrid & flexible position, with an initial requirement to have a presence on site, allowing the successful candidate to build rapport and relationships with the commercial department and C-Suite executives.
