An expanding forward thinking company of Chartered Accountants based Henley on Thames are currently seeking to recruit a Mixed Tax Senior to join their friendly team. Reporting to the Senior Tax Manager, the Mixed Tax Senior will have responsibility for a portfolio of primarily corporation tax clients.

This role would be a great opportunity for a candidate to gain more exposure to advisory

Key responsibilities of the Mixed Tax Senior include :

  • Completion and/or reviews of corporation tax returns and computations; Completion and/or reviews of personal tax returns and computations; Completion and/or reviews of P11Ds and PSAs; Personal tax advisory projects such as advising on residency and capital gains tax; Assistance with R&D tax relief claims and submissions; Corporate advisory projects such as company restructures, sales including share buybacks and MBOs share schemes, EIS and SEIS; Ad hoc technical research and drafting advisory reports; Assist with HMRC enquiries; ATED and employment related securities returns; Assist accounts and audit team, as well as clients, with ad hoc tax queries; and Deliver training to more junior members of staff.

The ideal Mixed Tax Senior will be CTA qualified or part qualified desirable. ATT, ACA or ACCA qualified with suitable tax experience and have the ability to quickly establish relationships with both colleagues and clients. The firm will provide full training, support (including study support) and guidance and prior experience in all of the above areas is by no means a pre-requisite for the role.

The salary on offer will be between £35k-£60k depending on experience plus excellent benefits. Flexible working arrangements including flexitime and working from home are offered plus access to their employee wellbeing and mental health program and attendance at their Quarterly social events.
