This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to make their next move in a Professional Services firm.
Description
- All regular duties of a legal cashier
- Day to day management of office account
- All nominal postings
- Processing of all bills
- Monthly management accounts
- Monthly KPIs for fee earners/updates against targets
- Budgeting and Financial forecasting
- Liaising with the firm's accountants to deal with Corporation Tax etc.
- Month end reporting to the partners including trial balance
- Training new starters on basis SAR rules
- Year-end Accounts and SAR Audit
- General help and assistance where required by the partners in any other aspect relating to the financial management of the firm
- Completion processing of client transactions
- (Checking completion statements/bank details for payments)
- Bank reconciliation - clients and office
- VAT
- Payment of suppliers/financial review of supplier contracts
- Debtors review/chasing
- Reviewing/clearing of client balances
- Payroll processing
- Payment processing - Faster/CHAPS payments
- Costs transfers
Profile
- Min 5 years' accounts experience ideally within an accountancy/ professional services firm
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified or similar
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong computer and numeracy skills
