Financial Accountant  required for one of our established clients based in Chester. This is an exciting new role reporting directly to the Group Finance Manager and will be responsible for ensuring internal and external reporting is provided on time and to a high standard.

Duties & Responsibilities.

• To assist with the production of the Group consolidation and associated consolidated Statutory Accounts
• To assist with the production of Statutory Accounts for the Group companies
• To produce tax packs for the Group Companies and liaise with Tax advisors to ensure Tax computations are ready for audit and filing.
• Production of month end reporting of Group companies
• Production of month end finance reports
• To assist with control documentation for Tax and finance risks and ensure they are kept up to date.
• To assist with external audit requirements
• To support the existing team with projects, other aspects of financial reporting and internal audit requirements

Skills & Knowledge;

• The ideal candidate will be either ACCA/ACA/CIMA Qualified
• Must have a keen eye for detail and strong technical accounting skills
• Show an impressive attitude and not only take full responsibility for their duties but are enthusiastic to take on new challenges which will develop their own career
