Assistant Financial Accountant

Growing manufacturing/retail business based in on the North Wales/England boarder requires an Assistant Financial Controller on a temporary basis. The role is initially 3-5 months however there is scope for the right person.

Reporting to the Finance Director this role is seeking someone MS Dynamics/Navision experience to assist with system implementation and process writing.

A strong, system minded accountant is needed to help with the implementation of the system. This temporary role will involve elements of financial system design and process development, alongside financial reconciliations to the incumbent financial system, Xero. It is a hands-on role with some opportunity to shape the future use of the system.

Specifically, this role will cover the following:

• Reconciliation of the ledger between Xero and the Dynamics system, including nominal and sub ledgers
• Posting of corrective journals
• Reconciliation of bank entries, purchase and sales ledgers
• Review and development of business and financial processes to drive lean and efficient system procedures
• Development of a monthly reporting pack

The right candidate will have;

• Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics systems
• Solid accounting background, ideally ACA/ACCA/AAT/CIMA
