An award-winning boutique tax advisory firm is currently searching for an accountant to be based remotely. Playing a key role within the firm you will be responsible for handling both the accounts and tax for clients. If you have practice experience, can handle tax queries and are ACA qualified then this is certainly a great opportunity to join a fantastic firm!

Being solely responsible for heading up the accounts and tax compliance department, you will play a key role within the firm. Your day-to-day duties will include:

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Being solely responsible for heading up the accounts and tax compliance department, you will play a key role within the firm. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Production of statutory accounts
- Production of both VAT and corporation tax returns
- Handle client accounting and tax queries
- General bookkeeping and journal entries
- Complete end to end accounts
- Manage one junior staff member
- ACA or ACCA qualified. ACA preferred
- CTA or ATT is highly desirable
- Experience with Xero
- Strong Planning and creative problem-solving skills
- Confident when dealing with clients
- Preferably experience handling accounts for property clients
WHAT YOU WILL GET
- £40,000-£55,000 per annum
