You will be working for a market leading chemical company that operates 27 businesses across the globe. The business has a £60 million turnover and is constantly growing due to acquisitions. Your new role
You will be working as an Accountant reporting to the Senior Accountant. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing the weekly cashflow forecasts and reporting to Treasury
- Preparing the statutory accounts under IFRS
- Supporting with VAT returns and corporation tax pack preparation
- Business partnering with people across the international business
- Analysis of fixed costs and balance sheets
- As-hoc responsibilities including supporting the audit, M&A activities, and cash management initiatives.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a recently ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountant from either a practice or industry trained background. Any SAP experience would be an advantage. You must have strong communications skills and an eagerness to get involved across the team.
