This is a 3-6 month day rate role (PAYE) to support the Statutory Reporting Manager during their busy audit period. The role will involve both statutory accounting and audit support.
Client Details
My client is a US based, multinational technology business who have grown significantly in recent years. Due to this growth, there could be the potential for a permanent opportunity for the right candidate following an initial interim period.
Description
The main responsibilities for the role are the timely preparation and completion of the statutory accounts, in line with local GAAP in all EMEA countries. The successful candidate will work closely with the EMEA Statutory Accounting Manager on the external audit process and to ensure that any issues are discussed and resolved timely.
- Produce local statutory accounts in collaboration with the in country providers
- US GAAP to local GAAP bridge preparation on a quarterly basis
- Liaison with auditors and in country providers for the preparation, audit, signing and submission of statutory accounts
- Working closely with the external audit teams to ensure the delivery of the statutory audit in time line agreed
Profile
The successful candidate will need to be:
- Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA
- Have relevant exposure to statutory reporting
- Able to demonstrate strong IFRS, FRS 102, US GAAP technical accounting
- Audit experience
- Be able to adapt to a new environment quickly
- Available to start working with them before the end of February
Job Offer
This role offers flexible working, as they operate on a hybrid basis out of their office in Reading.
They are offering a salary of up to £60k which will be on a day rate basis via PAYE.
