Investigo are working together with a global property organisation to recruit a Management Accountant into their head office finance team. This is a newly created role due to growth with an organisation that prioritises the growth of it's team members. The role will be hybrid working with office based portion of the role being based in Battersea Park, this will likely be two days per week.

The key responsibilities for the role:

  • Supporting the Finance team in the delivery of Management Accounts and monthly analysis of Gross Profit, Debtors days as well as ensuring a strong financial control environment.
  • Preparation of month end accruals, prepayments, provision for bad debts, depreciation, payroll, WIP adjustments and other financial accounting journals.
  • Preparation of inter-company transactions and calculations.
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations for review by the Financial Controller.
  • Respond to queries in relation to our annual audits.
  • Business partnering with internal and external parties in order to respond to queries and perform key analysis relevant to the query.
  • Assist in preparation and review of VAT returns, EC Sales Lists as appropriate for the UK and overseas entities.
  • Assist in preparation and review of the group's other statutory lodgements as appropriate e. National Statistics submissions, P11D's, PSA calculations.
  • Assist in the review of payment runs, personal expense claims and company credit card expense claims.
  • Any other ad hoc tasks required by the Financial Controller.

Experience, Skills & qualifications required:

  • Previous work experience in a similar role
  • Qualified or part qualified, studying towards (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Professional and can-do attitude
  • Self motivated and adaptable
  • Be able to prioritise and multi-task
  • Excellent organisational abilities to be able to balance different tasks ensuring deadlines are met whilst maintaining the highest levels of accuracy
  • Good IT skills, with the ability to adapt to bespoke systems easily
  • Highly competent in Excel with the ability to create templates, models to aid tax calculations/ submissions
  • Work to a high level of accuracy (attention to detail)
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good team working skills, experienced in working with other team members and delivering work to agreed timescales
  • Diligent and self-disciplined
