Management Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity to join a Schools Trust which currently comprises three leading independent girls' schools.  The schools operate across two sites, with the Trust offices located in South-West London.

The Trust is looking to recruit a Management Accountant who will support the Financial Controller with month-end accounts, month-end close, ad hoc projects and audit preparation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Production of management accounts
• Preparing regular reports for budget holders
• Assisting with the budget cycle
• Preparation of statutory returns for submission
• Analysis and reporting on key supplier activity
• Maintenance of the fixed asset register
• Maintaining the schedules of accruals and prepayments
• Assisting with procurement and tender processes
• Contribute to the development of finance policy, systems and processes
• Provide support and assistance to the finance team as required

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE:

• ACCA or CIMA qualification (ideally fully qualified)
• An understanding of GDPR and data protection laws
• Prior experience in preparing management accounts and financial statements
• Excellent working knowledge of accounting procedures
• Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables &  vlook-ups)
• Excellent written, oral and interpersonal skills
