Your new role As an Accounts Technician / Assistant Accountant at the firm's Warmley headquarters, you'll be responsible for preparing year-end accounts for a wide range of clients, including limited corporations, partnerships, and sole traders. You'll also be involved in delivering personal and corporate tax compliance, as well as a minor degree of engagement in wider services such as VAT, bookkeeping, management accounts, and other tasks. As you progress within the team and role, your involvement with clients and technical responsibilities will increase, and you will be encouraged to progress and develop within your career, with the support of highly experienced, qualified professionals around you, as well as study support for those looking to pursue further qualifications.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll be AAT-qualified or studying for AAT, ACCA, or other qualifications. Alternatively, you may have built your career totally on your prior experience. Most importantly, you will have developed a career background in the accountancy practice sector, working within a firm of accountants of any size with at least two to three years experience, or ideally more, preparing year end accounts and tax, VAT, bookkeeping, and other accounting related tasks for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships.
