SF Recruitment are currently searching for a Financial Controller for our well-established client in Northampton who has ambitious growth plans. As Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the finance departments of three brands across the group and overseeing a team of 10.

Key responsibilities:

- Monitor the day-to-day financial operations, such as cashflow, purchase ledger, sales ledger, and other transactions
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Produce detailed financial reports and prepare timely and reliable financial information and reconciliations
- Lead the integration of acquisitions from a financial control and reporting perspective
- Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance to Group policy
- Establish & monitor KPIs (invoice erroring rates, suppliers reconciled, etc.) for finance operations
- Streamline and improve processes and procedures across the business.
- Implement appropriate technology to reduce transaction processing times and cost per activity
- Line management responsibility, incorporating training & development and performance review
- Leading of Divisional external audit process
- Recording and calculation of rebates supported by the commercial function to enhance the integrity of Gross Margin accounting
- Carry out other duties which fall within reasonable expectations of the role

Key skills & experience:

- ACCA/CIMA Qualified
- History of team management
- Strong attention to detail
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft office
- Implementation experience advantageous
