Halliday Marx have partnered with a growing Consultancy Organisation to recruit a Part Qualified Management Accountant on a permanent basis. This role allows flexibility of hybrid working, and is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to development and grow their career within a large organisation.
This role is pivotal for ensuring accurate and timely reporting for various entities and your key duties will include, but not be limited too;
- Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and quarterly financial reporting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Monthly P&L variance analysis and commentary
- Assist with the preparation of cashflow forecasts
- Preparation of journals, accruals and prepayments
- Inter-company reconciliations
- Assist with the internal and external audit, including liaison with the auditors
- Assist with the monthly VAT and corporate tax returns
- Adhoc projects and support to the wider business and organisation
About the Successful Candidate;
- Part Qualified/Studying Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- 1-2 years accounting experience within a large organisation
- Proficient with Excel including v-lookups, pivot tables
- Excellent communicator both written and verbal
- Strong team player and self starter who can prioritise task and work to strict deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Previous experience with SAP and exposure to US GAAP would be high advantageous
