Financial Director

End to End Directorship role

Hampshire based division of a larger group within the manufacturing sector with a vibrant culture seek to appoint a talented Director of Finance.

Your new role
You will be accountable for the end to end finance function at a local level acting as a senior business partner to a range of stakeholders within operations, sales, marketing and group finance. You will play a key role leading the commercial agenda for the local business whilst supporting your wider team to ensure that the day to day statutory obligations of the organisation are met in a timely and accurate manner. You will be the lead sponsor on a range of projects which improves the flow of management information, the profitability of the business as well as identifying new route to markets through the delivery of new products and services.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA,CIMA) with experience within manufacturing and/or FMCG as an ideal. You will be a proven leader who demonstrates commercial flair as well as sound financial judgement when it comes to the review of the financial statements. You will be a natural business partner with prior experience directly supporting a manufacturing plant or factory. Prior experience in an FD role with ownership of commercial finance and financial control would also be desirable. The role will be office based given the need to interact frequently with the production team on the manufacturing "shop floor".
