Adele Carr Financial Recruitment is supporting the recruitment process of a not for profit organisation in Liverpool who are keen to add some technical, analytic support to the finance department.

Due to a re-structure, the FCA, Head of Finance is eager to appoint a qualified,
Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner to support the growth of the business with budgeting and forecasting.

The ideal applicant will be ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified with a proven background in financial reporting, variance analysis and business partnering.

You will be a confident all-rounder, with excellent, inter-personal skills who enjoys working with various budget holders, including finance and non-finance stakeholders.

This is a varied, challenging role as the company is going through an exciting period of change and requires an adaptable, resilient and confident individual who can influence others and add value.

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the senior leadership team with month end, financial reporting
  • P&L, Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Provide further business partnering support to the wider business.
  • Budgeting / forecasting
  • Cash flow
  • Assist with year-end audit
  • Manage ad hoc reporting and analysis, various CAPEX projects, continuous improvement.

The ideal applicant, will be:

  • Seeking to work in Liverpool on a full time, permanent basis

  • Capable of working well under pressure, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision
  • Possess excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and a desire and ability to partner with colleagues (both finance and non-finance), across the wider business.
  • Willing to improve current systems, processes and controls.
  • Good technical knowledge of IT systems including MS Excel, Xero
