Finance Manager job for a rapidly growing start up Retail Company based in South Manchester paying up to £50k
Your new company
A large property development group with head offices in South Manchester / Cheshire are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join the residential division of the group. This is a great job opportunity for a finalist or newly qualified practice trained accountant to make their first move into industry which can offer some commercial exposure.
Your new role
As a Finance Manager you will lead the company's finance team and report directly into the CEO and Founder. This is a first hire into finance. The initial part of role will involve setting up accounts function and bringing the financial and management reporting in house. you will implement operational efficiencies and processes, whilst taking responsibility for all VAT, annual consolidation, overseeing of all month end closure. Due to the growth of the business, you will also be involved with budgeting and forecasting activity alongside working directly with the founder and senior leadership team on ad-hoc projects.
What you'll need to succeed
As Finance Manager you will be a qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA accountant who is looking to take on more responsibility and progress your career. Exposure to working with clients in retail and fashion is preferable.
