Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be working on an exclusive basis with a reputable and fast growing group of companies based in Sheffield. The company is seeking an experienced Group Accountant to join the team. The role will be responsible for all aspects of group and consolidated reporting across the group, including liaison with external advisors.

They have a current turnover of around £15 Million and employ over 160 staff. The group has ambitious growth plans and have already acquired 2 business in the last 6 months and have more to follow. This is a really exciting time to join the company and there will be lots of opportunities here for the right individual.

Reporting into the Head of Group Reporting, this is a varied role that will include the following duties. Please also note there will be plenty of scope to get involved in ad-hoc projects, process and system improvements as well as involvement with acquisition growth within the business.

* Produce consolidated monthly financial reporting requirements
* Production of Monthly Management Accounts
* Dealing with investor and banking requirements
* Lead the year end process including being the key contact for audit and tax advisors, including overseas advisors (Netherlands)
* Production of annual consolidated financial statements and single entity statutory accounts
* Produce consolidated weekly short term cashflow forecasts
* Own banking relationships including set up of and closure of accounts following acquisitions
* Support the Head of Group Reporting with the integration and updates of the finance system
* Develop and maintain capex reporting including development spend
* Develop and maintain monthly overhead reporting and present to department heads
* Deputise for Head of Group Reporting as and when required

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experiences: -

* ACA/ CIMA/ ACCA Qualified
* This role would be ideal for someone practice trained looking to make a first or second move in industry although industry trained candidates with relevant experience will also be strongly considered
* Strong technical accounting knowledge
* Experience in audit and accounts preparation
* Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks
* Good communication skills
