Senior Financial Accountant

Halliday Marx are excited to partner with a Multi-National Technology organisation to recruit a Financial Accountant on an interim 6 month contract. Situated in their Central London offices, this is a Hybrid working role and you will provide key support for the EMEA Accounting Team.

Your duties will include, but not be limited too;

• Assist with the EMEA monthly management reporting duties for Opex, Balance sheet and Below the Line reporting and co-ordination of the EMEA flash report
• Monthly accounting and reporting responsibilities under US GAAP, mainly Opex and Inter-company but could expand into other areas
• Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, as per the Group timetable
• Providing support to the annual US GAAP audit and quarterly review processes
• Statutory reporting under Local GAAP for several entities
• Assisting management with ad-hoc projects/requests
• Other tasks to be determined by Senior management

About the Successful Candidate;

• A Professional Accounting Qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent
• Previous experience within a large multi-national
• US GAAP and IFRS experience
• Experience of working with SAP highly desirable
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong communicator in both written and verbal communication
• Team Player - self starter, be able to work autonomously, but support and provide wider team support
