You will be working for one of the South Coast's leading Top 10 accountancy practice firms where you will work closely with the team's senior management and will be involved in helping to develop and deliver on the firm's ambitious growth strategy. At the operational level, you will deliver exceptional service to a growing portfolio of NHS and wider public and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities will include servicing a number of contracts and projects located across the South of England; being an on-site presence at various clients and a visible point of contact for the counter fraud service; working with client staff groups to identify fraud risks in their areas, with a focus on the finance, payroll / HR and procurement functions; providing input into the review of fraud risks and best practice to help form recommendations to improve internal controls; meeting reporting requirements, such as drafting quarterly progress reports for Audit Committee, completion of Organisation Self Assessments and Annual Reporting; using the NHS Counter Fraud Authority's ("NHS CFA") CLUE database, case-manage referrals of potential fraud from various internal and external sources and undertaking investigative work in accordance with NHS CFA and legal guidance.

The successful candidate is likely to be an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist (ACFS) with prior experience as a Counter Fraud Specialist, ideally within the NHS or a similar public sector body, or in a similar role within a practice firm. You will be comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and the firm's partners to help businesses effectively. Previous line management experience is desirable but not essential.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join a growing team where you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package along with hybrid/flexible working.
