About your Role
As a member of the Finance Team you will have the opportunity to get involved in the business and help shape the efficiency of the Finance Department within a successful consulting firm.
Role Responsibilities:
- Credit Control – A good credit control process is at the heart of any successful business.
- WIP – Working with the business to ensure contractual documentation and purchase orders are received in a timely fashion in order to raise invoices.
- Dealing with client queries concerning invoicing and bank details
- Monthly invoicing to clients and uploading supplier invoices
- Bank accounts reconciliation
- Pension Reconciliation
- Capturing and reporting Framework data
- Group Reporting – Reporting the cash flow figures to Group on a daily basis.
- Running a Sector – Managing and monitor the revenue of a Sector from pipeline data, resourcing, revenue reconciliation to margin trends and anticipating how it will affect the business.
- Overseeing the submission of timesheets
- Overseeing Engagements/Projects – This includes everything from the set up to ensuring contractual documentation is received and logged to opening up the engagement for time on Sales Force.
- Audit Sampling– There is one statutory audit each year and in addition to that there are mini audits, which take place around September and December each year.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be:
- 3+ years accounting experience, ideally in a professional services business
- Part qualified in ACA/ACCA/CIMA AAT 3 Qualified
- Numerate
- Familiarity with Salesforce would be advantageous but not essential Highly proficient in Office 365 including Excel, Teams, and Outlook Excellent communication skills Comfortable engaging, building relationships with stakeholders To be flexible, manage ambiguity and adapt successfully to changing situations Highly organised, proactive and detail focused To be able to multitask and work collaboratively as part of a team
Package and Location
- A total cash package of up to £40,000 comprising of a base salary of £35,000 and a combination of personal and company bonuses which enables all our people to share in the success of the business.
- Bonuses are reliably paid every six months
- Study support package 25 days annual leave increasing by one day for every full year of service to a maximum of 30 days
- A quarterly ‘Escape’ for 24 hours, for social, team building and corporate social responsibility activities, with a longer 4-day event held annually

Our offices are based near Liverpool Street Station and although we operate in a hybrid working environment, the successful candidate would be expected to be in the office 2-3 days a week, and on occasion more often.
