My client is a multi office firm of Chartered Accountants across the Hampshire region. They are growing year on year either with new clients or by acquiring smaller portfolios from other Firms. they have an excellent reputation and their culture is relaxed, friendly and supportive with a low staff turnover.

Your new role
You will:

• Prepare and review management accounts on a monthly or quarterly basis us
• Post journals, calculating accruals/prepayments and reconciling control accounts
• Complete bookkeeping duties and prepare VAT returns, EC Sales and Intrastat returns where necessary
• Attend client meetings, building relationships with clients
• Identify opportunities to increase the client base and develop cross departmental working opportunities
• Perform and contribute effectively to Staff Appraisal meetings
• Review of accounting software developments to ensure "best fit" advice is given to clients
• review the work of and mentor juniors as needed

• Ad hoc advisory projects as needed to support the Directors.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA or ACCA qualified with experience of working within practice, working on a portfolio of clients including management accounts experience. You will be comfortable in liaising with clients and have excellent communication skills.

What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £50,000 depending on experience. Flexible working options available with hybrid working post probation. On site parking available.
