A small independent firm of Chartered Accountants, based in Ellesmere are seeking an ACA / ACCA qualified accountant to join the team as an Assistant Manager or Manager. This role has arisen due to the continued growth of business and the succession planning within the firm.

Your new role
The firm are looking to appoint a qualified accountant (ACA/ ACCA) who has gained over two years post qualified experience. As a manager you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients and alongside another senior member of the team you will be responsible for reviewing all work produced by the junior members of the team. Management responsibilities will also include leading client meetings, mentoring and developing junior members of staff and implementing standardised processes and procedures. This role has the opportunity to develop through to partnership over the medium term and is a great opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant. The firm will also consider qualified accountants who perhaps haven't operated as a manager but would be keen to develop.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm are looking to appoint either an ACA or ACCA qualified accountant who possesses at least two years post qualified experience and has worked within a general practice. You ideally will have developed some managerial skills whether portfolio or people management and have previous experience of reviewing work.
