Hays are delighted to be supporting a large, multinational organisation with the recruitment of a permanent Commercial Finance Analyst for their site in Droitwich.

In the UK, this company develops and manufactures a wide range of products within the FMCG industry and is ranked in the Top 10 of Britain's biggest brands.

Your new role
Working within one of their largest divisions, you will provide timely and accurate financial and commercial information to internal teams to support decision-making.

Key responsibilities:

• Preparation and distribution of various weekly and monthly finance reports
• Provide maintenance of retail customer price trackers in collaboration with the commercial team
• Oversee retail customer discounts through SAP ensuring the right level of control and all reconciliations on a monthly basis
• Provide cost and pricing support to both the commercial and commercial finance teams
• Provide development of optimal financial data consolidation
• Liaise with management accounts team to ensure necessary postings are made
• Provide financial and management information to Controllers as required
• Support consolidation and reporting of specific aspects of controlling e. customer margins/pricing adjustments

What you'll need to succeed

• Accounting qualification (AAT or equivalent) highly desirable but not essential providing relevant experience can be demonstrated
• Good understanding of day-to-day financial processes and procedures
• Strong analytical skills together with the ability to handle large amounts of data
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills
• Able to challenge the status quo and influence people at all levels
• Strong character and capable of voicing opinion in a concise and positive manner
• Proficient with IT and finance systems (SAP an advantage)
