Our client is a small firm of ACCA accountants and tax advisors in Oxfordshire at Upper Heyford, near Bicester. Established in 2000, they have built a strong reputation for providing a timely, dynamic, cost efficient, individually tailored level of service to a wide variety of clients. Our client is looking for an adaptable individual that will fit into their unique and developing business.


Your new role

You will look after your own portfolio of clients and offer general practice services. You'll review and sign off accounts, and prepare accounts for limited companies, partnerships, sole traders and charities. You'll also be responsible for the preparation of Corporation Tax returns and Self-Assessment tax returns. You'll also offer consultative services, supporting clients on a wide variety of accounting, taxation and business issues. You'll also prepare management accounts and advise clients as needed.


What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced accountant. You'll need practice experience. You'll be adept at working to deadlines and be able to prioritize your varied workload. A self-starter with the ability to work independently and an ability to think on your feet. You'll also possess a solid understanding of tax and be familiar with accounting and book-keeping IT packages. You will need to be able to adapt to the increasing digital demands of the profession. You'll be a true team player with a sense of humour who will engage with the social side of working life
