Finance Business Partner- Remote with some travel - Charity Sector Locations Lincs, NE, Yorks, NW, Lancs, Cumbria

Do you want to be part of a close,knit, hard working team that helps to improve the lives of children across the North of England? Working mostly remotely, this team work collaboratively and supportively to support children's services and as Finance Business Manager your role is critical in helping to enable the front line, essential services provided by this organisation.

As Finance Business Manager you will look after a number of services across a geographical region to support them with budgeting and forecasting, providing robust financial reporting and data to support decision making, financial management of contracts, risk mitigation. You will work with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including commissioners, heads of service, directors. You will look after around 3 localities and will be required to travel between them. Initially meeting all of them and then moving to once a month or once a quarter plus quarterly face to face team meetings.

You will be a part or fully qualified accountant with experience in working with budget holders and in building budgets and forecasting. Confident communication skills are essential as you will be dealing with a wide range of people both in person and on MS Teams. It will also be helpful if you have good IT skills including excel to include formulae, pivot tables and look ups. Any experience beyond this is a bonus.
