Our client is a highly profitable and rapidly growing c£18m EBITDA PE backed business with a buy and build strategy.  With operations in the UK, Europe and recently completed US acquisition, the business is now looking to recruit a Commercial FBP reporting to the Commercial Finance Director.  The role is broad and will involve the following:

  • Supporting the Commercial Finance Director by providing analysis and insight into financial, operational and market data.
  • To support the development and realisation of existing and new strategies, including new acquisitions, operational review, process re-engineering and other projects as directed.
  • Improving the current data quality across all areas to improve current reporting and decision making. 
  • This involves working closely colleagues across the business including management accountants, financial accountants, operations staff, customer facing staff and other areas of the business.
  • Driving better processes and improvements across the organisation and in metrics such as KPIs.
  • Provide meaningful reporting, analysis, and collaboration to produce valuable insight.
  • Working with the business operations team to understand, challenge, communicate, provide value through insight and delivering improvements.
  • Assist with queries from other corporate departments in relation to pricing/billing.
  • Support the process of maintaining prices and packages, ensuring commercially optimised at all times and regularly reviewed. 
  • Provide support for review, analysis and recommendations regarding supplier selection and ensuring best contract terms are achieved.
  • Oversee the procurement process, working with the business and purchase ledger team to ensure delivery of cost savings.
  • Assist the production of the annual budget and regular forecasts including, but not limited to, the setting of sales targets for all clinics in the Group.
  • Assist with the integration of new acquisitions as required with commercial finance support, competitor analysis, pricing / billing perspective, operational review and ad hoc projects.
  • Support and assist with financial accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis as and when required.

You will be a qualified accountant with a track record as a Commercial Finance Business Partner with the ability to add value, rather than just focusing on process.  You will be a self starter with the ability to work independently.  The role is fully remote, though there will be regular opportunities to meet on a monthly basis.
