Interim Financial Controller

Your new company
We have been exclusively instructed on this interim opportunity by a tech start up business which is in the property space. Working for a highly entrepreneurial business, you will be reporting directly into the CFO on designing and rescoping the finance function.

Your new role
You will act as the Interim Financial Controller to assist the business through a period of transition and change. In this hands-on role, you will collaborate with the CFO to bring the finance function in line with high operating standards, whilst driving improvements around commentary and reporting. You will update internal controls, whilst also implementing change and driving performance and reviewing existing practice.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be suitably qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with previous experience of working within high profile management environments where you have showcased leadership and productivity improvement. Experience of being able to manage up and down within a challenging and fast paced environments is crucial. The client has requested that you are available to start within short notice.

What you'll get in return
The project will pay up to £100k depending on experience. You will be part of high profile and business critical project. Although this is initially a 12 month project, there is a likelihood that the contract could be extended or even go permanent for the right candidate. If there is no desire to be considered for the permanent position, you will support the CFO through the permanent recruitment process. The role comes with a fluid hybrid policy and free onsite parking.
