Salary: Pro rata £50,000

Benefits: Part time opportunity approx. 22 - 23 hours per week, hybrid option available

Location: West Hull and hybrid

Are you a qualified/part qualified accountant with previous audit experience and looking for a part time opportunity? My client is looking for you! The role requires approx. 22 - 23 hours per week and there is an option for some hybrid working. Candidates will be preferably ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified accountants.

THE ROLE:
Reporting into the CFO the role requires a qualified or part qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant with previous audit experience so ideally the successful candidate will have been trained in professional practice.

To provide independent assurance to the Board that financial and non-financial controls and risk are being managed effectively.

The post holder will give assurance, help improve governance, risk and control arrangements and provide assurance that leadership is doing the right things in the right way.
This is a part time permanent position, approximately 22 hours per week although some weeks may require a little longer.

THE CANDIDATE:
A keen eye for detail is essential therefore a previous training in professional practice with audit experience is ideal.

Candidates may be qualified/part qualified or qualified by experience candidates will also be considered with the relevant skills and experience.

You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to report effectively to the leadership team.
