Assistant Management Accountant

Based in St Albans, Hertfordshire client is looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis.

This job would suit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA part qualified accountant with ideally stock experience. If you're looking for an opportunity to grow with a great organisation with multiple career options moving forward, then this roles for you.

The successful individual will be commercially minded with excellent relationship building skills to work well with the finance team, directors and other personnel. Being able to produce accurate and timely management information at all levels is essential. The right candidate will be competent in Excel, including vlookup, sumif and pivot tables, Word and Office. A working knowledge of VAT is essential.

Job responsibilities:

Assist with accurate and timely production and review of Management AccountsMaintain and reconcile Fixed Assets, Payroll, Prepayments and Accruals.Assist with continuous improvement of the Management Accounts process. Produce of Daily Sales Reports.Balance Sheet Reconciliations.Analyse and reconcile Credit Cards and Employee Expenses, prepare and post associated journals. Support Senior team members with external Audit preparation and testing.Produce Payroll Journals from Payroll Reports.Assist Senior team members with the Budget process.Weekly reconciliation of Till Differences and Discrepancies.
