Elevation Senior Finance are currently working on a fantastic Interim Financial Controller role with an innovative manufacturing business based in the Doncaster area. Initially on a 6 month contract basis to provide support to the finance function through a continuing phase of growth, but could be extended further or become a permanent role for interested candidates.
Initially Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working collaboratively with the Management Teams across two sites, you would be expected to monitor actual performance versus budget and report variances to the business. Developing financial models and cash flow projections, as well as analysis of results from these models to make recommendations for future activities.
Duties & Responsibilities of the Financial Controller will include:
* Tracking, reporting, and analysing budget variances
* Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate
* Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
* Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance.
* Forecasting future financial performance
* Preparing and analysing budgets
* Providing accurate financial reports to management and the board
* Ensuring compliance with government regulations
* Financial modelling
The successful candidate will be a well-rounded and experienced Financial Controller and interested candidates must be immediately available for interview and subsequent start.
