Head of Finance job, broad finance role for this SME PE backed manufacturing business in central Manchester.

Your new company

This manufacturing business has an innovative product, with a B2B customer base spanning local SMEs to other multinational conglomerates. Under new private equity ownership, there has been a shift in strategy and an appetite to drive growth and profitability. The company has several offices with a large presence in Manchester.

Your new role

Supporting the CFO and senior management team, you will be the key point of contact to provide useful financial information to the various stakeholders. You'll lead a finance team of 8 who will support you in the production of management accounts, financial reporting, cash flow management and FP&A. This is a hands-on, broad finance role that will provide a variety of challenges on a day-to-day basis.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have a sound technical understanding from completing your ACA, ACCA or CIMA accounting qualification and have a good technical accounting knowledge. You will also have a strong analytical skill set to interpret financial data, alongside the communication skills to articulate this information to key stakeholders and a strong commercial awareness to help deliver on strategic initiatives across the group.
