Our client a leading insurer based in Surrey are currently recruiting for an Interim Senior Financial Accountant to cover workload during an internal secondment. The role will work closely with the team and provide technical support to the wider business.
The role will support the external reporting for the business and look to interpret and implement new accounting standards. The role will also support (as part of the team) the statutory reporting including being a point of contact for the auditors and regulatory reporting including Solvency II.
Core responsibilities:
- Supporting the Finance Manager in producing group reporting
- Contribute towards the preparation of the 2023 statutory accounts
- Assist with Solvency II reporting
- Liaise with the auditors on queries
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong technical reporting experience ideally having worked within or audited Insurers or Financial services businesses. The ability to work well in a team environment and build relationships across the teams will be essential for the position.
